On Friday, May 11, 2012, sixteen Perry County residents donated their hair to Locks for Love. These individuals had been growing their hair for over a year. The high school held a "Hairathon" ceremony. Local stylists Jamie Mercer, and Jeriann McCallister donated their services to each participant - giving them a haircut after the donation ceremony.
